Chionanthus retusus 'China Snow' is a large growing Chinese fringetree that has excellent, rounded, green leaves that appear after the flowers in the spring. The flowers are produced in staggering quantities and will certainly be a show stopper in the spring garden. 'China Snow' can be grown as a large shrub or limbed up to become a small tree. All our fringetrees are grafted onto Chionanthus retusus to prevent the suckering issues with Chionanthus virginicus.
