Chionanthus virginicus 'Little Lesle" RARE!!!

Chionanthus virginicus 'Little Leslie' is an amazing dwarf selection of native fringetree made by our good nursery friends, Dave and Leslie Dannaher.  This diminutive little plant is SLOW growing - only a couple of inches per year.  Our plants are 1 year old and about 6" tall.  Expect at least 2-4 years to get your plant to 12" tall = it really is slow.  It makes huge clusters of blooms in the spring just before leaves emerge and continue as leaves begin to expand  - even on tiny plants.  This is a must have for a rock garden or anyplace a rare, flowering dwarf plant is needed.  Rare and awesome!  All our fringetrees are grafted onto Chionanthus retusus to prevent the suckering issues with Chionanthus virginicus.
