Cornus controvera 'Variegata' is one of the most spectacular variegated trees I've ever seen. If you have travelled much in Europe, many of the older gardens there have amazing, large, old specimens that will stop you in your tracks! Cornus controversa 'Variegata' performs better in cooler climates but can be successfully grown in the SE USA if planted in a shaded spot with decent soil that isn't wet nor dry. Stunning plants are found in the PNW and always make a grand statement.
Online ordering is temporarily suspended while we work to revamp our inventory. We we will be back to taking orders at 9 pm EDT October 1, 2026. Make sure to refresh your browser to see the latest offereings.
We're excited to be bringing many new selections of cool, rare plants to you soon!
Thanks, The Garden Treasures Team
