Cornus wilsoniana 'White Jade' (ghost dogwood, Wilson's dogwood) is a deciduous tree that has masses of small white flowers (not bracts like Cornus florida) in spring.  Cornus wilsoniana 'White Jade' is a J C Raulston Arboretum introduction and was selected for its STUNNING nearly snow-white bark!  Cornus wilsoniana 'White Jade' makes a small, multi stemmed tree and should be placed in your garden in moist, well-drained soil, where you can enjoy its stunning white bark in the winter.  Cornus wilsoniana 'White Jade' is one of the most striking, bark interest, RARE plants I've ever seen and rivals the best Lagerstoemia, Stewartia or Acer griseum and should find a home in everyone's garden!  Cornus wilsoniana 'White Jade' requires a few years before the stunning white bark appears, so don't be concerned that bark is greenish brown for the first few years. Thanks to Mike Chelednik for use of his photos!
