Cryptomeria japonica 'Al's Blue'

Cryptomeria japonica 'Al's Blue' is an evergreen conifer with glaucus green foliage  and a pyramidal growth habit.  Cryptomeria 'Al's Blue' appears to be a fairly large growing form of Japanese Cedar.  There is basically zero information online regarding this cultivar and I only know it  from a single specimen at the JCRA in Raleigh, NC (see photo below).  Cryptomeria 'Al's Blue' has a bluish (glaucus) cast to the foliage and stands out from the other "green" forms.  Cryptomeria 'Al's Blue' is great at a specimen or could be used to create a large screen/hedge.
