Daphne odora 'Nakafu' RARE!

Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is an evergreen shrub with ivory leaves narrowly margined and centered in green with fragrant pink flowers.  Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is a MUST HAVE plant for every garden that has a warm climate.  Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is extremely slow growing in production due to its nearly white leaves.   The plants we are selling are 3-4 years old and we only have 10 available for sale after 4 years of stock build up (most are still too small and will require another 1-2 years to get up to size).  Due to this, 'Nakafu' will always be RARE and rarely offered.   Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is a beautiful evergreen shrub with glossy ivory leaves narrowly margined with with green and a small, central green stripe, AND this great plant has INTENSELY fragrant pink flowers in the spring.  Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is great as a specimen and even better as mass or mixed plantings.  The biggest enemy of Daphne odora 'Nakafu' is water - dry sites are best.  Plant near the base of a large tree that will pull all the water out of the soil.  Irrigated areas are lethal - its difficult to find a sport that isn't too dry!  Daphne odora 'Nakafu'  grows best in bright to nearly sunny locations but will tolerate shadier areas that are dry.
