Disytlium "Dr. Ishi's Variegated"

Distylium "Dr. Ishi's Variegated" is a stunningly beautiful Winter hazel that has nearly pure off white spring growth that fades to green in the summer.  Very slow growing in our garden so far and appears best with some afternoon shade to protect the heavily variegated foliage.  RARE and difficult to propagate.  Once the few we have now are gone, it will be years before another crop is ready.

• EXPOSURE:  part shade to sun (might burn)
