Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumson'

Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumson' is a deciduous shrub with cream colored variegated leaves and yellow flowers in the spring.  Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumson' is a unique forsythia that has green leaves withcreamy colored reticulated veins - giving the impression a white netting across the surface of the leaves.. Stunning!  Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumson' has the typical yellow flowers that other forsythia have, but does not produce them in large quantities - but this plant is really grown more for its stunning foliage than for its flowers.  Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumson' can be used as a specimen but is probably  best used in mass plantings.
