Hydrangea arborescens 'Haas Halo' is a deciduous shrub with green leaves and white, lace-cap blooms. Hydrangea arborecens 'Haas Halo' has very large, lace-cap blooms in early summer and is better adapted to heat and humidity than most other Hydrangea arborescens varieties (as long as it receives ample water during the summer). Hydrangea arborescens 'Haas Halo' will bloom in part shade but blooms better in full sun and can be used mixed with other shrubs, as a specimen, or in group plantings and grows best in decent garden soil that retains moisture. The flowers remain on the plant even after finishing blooming and with turn an attractive tan color and will remain on the plant throughout the winter - adding interest to the winter garden.
