Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox Argentea'

Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox Argentea' (Variegated English Hedgehog Holly) is an evergreen shrub  with very spiny green leaves margined white.  Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox Argentea' is a slow growing, variegated English holly with white margined green leaves with spiny margins AND spines on top of the leaves!  Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox Argentea' is beautiful and is great as a specimen or could be used for an impenetrable hedge.  Best not planted near a walk way due to the extremely spiny leaves, but the spines make for a very unusual (and awesome) looking plant.  Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox Argentea' makes a great conversation plant and its amazing how nature can produce such an unusual leaf.  One of my favorites, but we don't produce it often - for some reason no one wants to take cuttings.... hummmmm.  Don't let the spines prevent you from planting this awesome shrub!
