Ilex cornuta 'Sunrise' is a yellow foliaged Chinese holly selected from the national arboretum many years ago and is extremely rarely seen in cultivation.  We have one of the oldest plants in the country (first cutting from the original plant) that is now 20' tall and is stunning.  All the leaves exposed to the sun are brilliant yellow and the shaded leaves are green - creating a beautiful 2 tone effect.  It in fall and winter when the huge quantity of berries turn red - WOW!
