Ilex glabra 'Gold Mine'

Ilex glabra 'Gold Mine' (inkberry holly) is a small, evergreen shrub with green leaves broadly margined in yellow and has small, white, inconspicuous flowers.  Ilex glabra 'Gold Mine' is a variegated mutation from the old cultivar 'Shamrock' and has small green leaves with wide golden margins.  Ilex glabra 'Gold Mine'  is great in mass plantings and as a specimen where a splash of golden yellow is needed.  Ilex glabra is a native to eastern USA and attracts pollinators.
