Kerria japonica 'Variegata'

Kerria japonica 'Variegata' is a deciduous spreading shrub with green leaves narrowly margined white.  Kerria japonica 'Variegata' is a good for mass plantings along a woodland edge where it receives bright light and thrives is moderate to good soil.  Kerria japonica 'Variegata' will slowly spread to form a small colony in time and can be used well as an understory shrub under smaller trees.  Kerria japonica 'Variegata' has fairly small, green leaves this narrow white margins and has golden yellow, single flowers in the spring.  The graceful arching habit of Kerria japonica 'Variegata' allows it to blend in perfectly into a woodland shrub planting.
