Leptodermis oblonga is a low growing, deciduous shrub with small, fragrant, lavender flowers from early summer to fall. Leptodermis oblonga is an uncommon small shrub that deserves greater attention- it's small size, fragrant flowers, and long bloom time make this a truly garden worthy plant. Leptodermis oblonga is generally well behaved in the garden, but I have seen one plant that tending to run around a little (it was not a problem, just a comment). Leptodermis oblonga can be used with other woody shrubs or great with perennials or annuals.
