Leucosceptrum japonicum 'Golden Angel'

Leucosceptrum japonicum 'Golden Angel' is an herbaceous perennial with golden leaves, and yellow flowers in the fall.  Leucosceptrum japonicum 'Golden Angel' forms a 36" mound by 36" tall and is a great plant to add a bright spot in a lightly shaded woodland garden.  In areas with high summer heat, Leucosceptrum japonicum 'Golden Angel's color may fade, but if  you cut back the plant, the new growth will be bright gold again.  In the Fall, Leuocosceptrum japonicum has terminal flower spikes that are yellow and bottlebrush like.
