Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' Tulip Poplar Tree

Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' (Variegated Tulip Poplar or Tuliptree) is a deciduous tree with large leaves broadly margined yellow.  Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' has yellow colored margins in the spring, then turns all green (or green on green variegation - subtle)  by summer (color holds much better in cooler climates like the PNW)  then in Fall they turn the typical bright yellow/gold fall color.  Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' will become a large tree in time and is best used as a specimen where it can grow without being blocked from view by other trees.
