Metapanax davidii

Metapanax davidii is a large growing, evergreen shrub with very glossy green, trilobed leaves.  If you are looking for an unusual evergreen shrub and you live in a warmer area, this might just be the shrub you are looking for!  Metapanax devidii will become a large shrub in time (easily pruned smaller) and gives a very tropical feel to a woodland garden where it makes a great background plant for smaller shrubs or large growing perennials.
