Osmanthus fragrans 'Beni Kin Mokusei'

Osmanthus fragrans 'Beni Kin Mokusei' is a large evergreen shrub with green leaves and reddish orange flowers.  Osmanthus fragrans 'Beni Kin Mokusei' is a stunning dark orange flowered fragrant osmanthus that is fast growing, has very dark green leaves, and a very compact, upright growth habit until any other Osmanthus fragrans that we grow.  Osmanthus fragrans 'Beni Kin Mokusei' can take a few years to flower, but when it does - WOW!  Amazing color and fragrance that it intoxicating!  With its very dense growth habit, Osmanthus fragrans 'Beni Kin Mokusei' would make a fantastic screening plant, useful in mixed shrub plantings, mass plantings or as a specimen.  We love all Osmanthus and this is one of our favorites (yes, I know - we have a lot of favorites, but reallly, this is a favorite!!!).  Thanks to Mike Chelednik for use of his photo of mature plant.
