Podocarpus macrophyllus 'Pringle'

Podocarpus macrophyllus 'Pringle' as an evergreen conifer with narrow, dark green leaves and an extremely narrow growth habit.  Podocarpus macrophyllus 'Pringle' is an amazing variant of Japanese Yew that is extremely narrow growing.  We haven't grown 'Pringle' more than a few years now and it appears to be fairly rapidly growing, but only produces very short, stubby side branches.  We really love all the Podocarpus macrophyllus cultivars and we look forward to seeing what 'Pringle' will do with age.  Should be an excellent plant where a vertical evergreen accent is needed.
