Quercus robur 'Concordia' (English Oak) is a large deciduous tree with bright gold leaves. Quercus robur 'Concordia' is one of the most stunning, large growing, yellow leafed trees I've ever grown. We have grown a very wide range of oaks and other trees here over the years, many are variegated, and generally speaking, the variegated trees are typically slower growing or more difficult than their green counter parts. This is NOT the case for Quercus robur 'Concordia'! It is the fastest (by far) grower of ANY oak (variegated or green) that I've ever seen. Under very good conditions I've seen up to 14 feet of growth in a season! If you have need of a large, FAST growing shade tree (that just happens to be stunning gold colored) then this is the tree for you! Best grown in full sun for brightest color. Quercus robur 'Concordia' will give you massive color impact in a short time and is one of my very favorite variegated trees!
