Sabal tamaulipas (dwarf palmetto, Mexican scrub palm, swamp palmetto) is an extremely slow growing, very cold hardy, evergreen palm. Sabal tamaulipas will SLOWLY (grows faster with age, but still slow) produce a large, non-trunk forming plant with very large, bold leaves in your garden. Sabal tamaulipas produces unusually large fruits - much larger than other Sabal species.
