Sarcococca saligna is a fantastic evergreen subshrub with long, glossy green leaves a gracefully semi-pendulous mounding habit and extremely fragrant, small white flowers in winter or early spring. Sarcococca saligna is very tolerant of heavy shade (best in filtered shade) and can even tolerate fairly moist soil conditions and is useful as a mass planting, a short border, a specimen.
