Sycopsis sinensis

Sycopsis sinensis (Chinese fighazel) is an evergreen shrub or small tree with dark green leaves and witch hazel like pale yellow flowers in the spring.   For us, Sycopsis sinensis has been fast growing and makes a nice specimen quickly and can be used as a large spreading shrub or would be stunning if limbed up to make a small tree.
