Syringa laciniata (cutleaf lilac) is a small deciduous shrub with cutleaf foliage and small lavender flowers. Syringa laciniata is very different than other lilacs due to its extremely cutleaf foliage. Syringa laciniata is more heat and powdery mildew tolerant than many other lilacs and is good in mass plants and as a specimen where its fragrant lavender flowers can be appreciated.
