Viburnum cinnamomifolium

Viburnum cinnamomifolium is a large, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves and produces white flowers in the summer that are sometimes followed by blue or black colored fruits.  Viburnum cinnamomifolium is a beautiful, large evergreen shrub that is useful as a background to other shrubs and perennials and can be used as a hedge or screen.  The leaves of Viburnum cinnamomifolium are very glossy and have 3 very prominent central veins that look very similar to the leaves on the genus Cinnamomum (hence the common name for this outstanding viburnum).  Viburnum cinnamomifolium can also be cut for use in floral arrangements.  Thanks to Mike Chelednik for use of his photo.
