Weigela 'Looymansii Aurea'

Weigela florida 'Looymansii Aurea' is a large deciduous shrub that has a profusion of pale pink/pink bell-shaped flowers in the spring that open as the new brilliant yellow foliage emerges.   Leaves will slowly fade to a bright chartreuse, then yellow green and color best in full sun.  Weigela florida 'Looymansii Aurea' makes a brilliant focal point in your garden.  Prune soon after flowering to produce a more compact plant.
