XGordlinia grandiflora 'Sweet Tea'

XGordlinia grandiflora 'Sweet Tea' is a fast growing hybrid between Franklinia x Gordonia and has doubled chromosome number as well.  this semi evergreen shrubby tree needs well drained soil and prefers fairly decent soil that isn't allowed to dry out.  In the right spot, 'Sweet Tea' is easy to grow and will reward you with lightly fragrant white flowers through the summer and will develop a mixture of red and green leaves for the fall.  In milder winters, these colorful leaves will stay on the plant.  In colder winters, the plant is deciduous.  This Camellia relative makes a beautiful plant along the edge of a woodland garden and blends very well with a wide range of other plants.
